Crown & Bridge work
We specialize in crown and bridge work and all work is guaranteed for a period of one year depending on the Certificate of Warranty that is shown under the Photo Gallery & on the back of each invoice. For all our crown & bridge work (metal + zirconium) we always do our design with support for the porcelain, reason why: so that the porcelain of the crowns/bridges/implants don’t chip off the metal or zirconium. We can ensure Dr/patient that the porcelain will never chip off the metal or zirconium if the dental technician just design the metal + zirconium work correctly (with support) + the CTE of the porcelain corresponds with the type of metal used. Our Product Catalogue consists of GC VMK crowns and bridges(on any implant system), GC PC porcelain press crowns, GC PC full press posterior crowns,GC Initial LiSi for lithium disilicate substructures, Emax press crowns, BruxZir Solid Zirconia(Monolithic) full posterior- + anterior crowns, bridges, screw-retained implant crowns and inlays + onlays with no porcelain overlay. These crowns, bridges, screw-retained implant crowns and inlays + onlays are very strong and the new BruxZir Shaded formulation give restorations improved translucency and colour similar to natural dentition, making them a restorative option in the posterior as well as anterior. Zirconia BruxZir crowns + bridges are done with a cut-back technique + with an overlay of different colours of GC porcelains. Our product catalog also consists of GC porcelain Zirconium crowns, Ceramic GC veneers, GC Full ceramic inlay/onlay, Temporary crowns and bridges, Shell temps with metal strengthners, Auro cast gold (semi-precious gold) crowns, Gold (precious alloy crowns), GC VMK's on posts and GC VMK's on multi posts. The GC VMK crowns and bridges, imlants + posts are made with a berrillium free metal called celaroy that is combined with GC Initial MC porcelain. The GC porcelain press crowns, GC full press posterior crown, Ceramic GC veneers and GC Full ceramic inlay/onlay are fabricated using GC Initial PC porcelain. The Zirconia(BruxZir) full or cut-back posterior crowns + bridges, screw-retained implant crowns and inlays + onlays and Porcelian Zirconium crowns are fabricated by using a Cerec(Cad/Cam) machine combined with GC Initial Zr-Fs porcelain. The metal that we use at our lab is ceraloy, its berrillium free, much safer for the patient and technician. All temporary crowns are made from Enamel plus temp material and all long span bridges can be combined with the celaroy metal strengthener to obtain a stronger bridge temp. if necessary. Eikestad Dental also uses GC Initial MC- and GC Initial Zr Porcelain Gum Shades to meet all the requirements for highly aesthetical gingival reproductions - for naturally beautiful transitions to the gingiva and unlimited creativity. In this 2 gum sets there are a gum opaque, base dark-, intensive red-, intensive violet-, base light-, and intensive cream porcelains that Eikestad Dental uses to meet all the requirements for aesthetic gingival reproductions .
Orthodontics
We specialize in Orthodontics and our product catalog consists of acrylic bite plates, ED biteplates, roberts retractor appliances, hawley retainers,trutain retainers, oral screens, tooth positioner(space maintainer), snoring applainces, dual laminated bite plates, bionator appliances, twin block appliances and much, much more depending on the patient and/or clinical professional needs. These applainces can be incoporated with expansion screws, full occlusal bite plate, anterior/posterior bite plates, tongue guard, flat or inclined planes. These applainces have different methods to retain the applaince in the patients' mouth and the following can be used to maintain the applaince; adams cribs, jackson cribs, ball clasps, single arm clasps and double arm clasps. Different springs can also be used to move teeth or arches, and they are single loop finger springs, double loop finger springs, buccal retraction springs, apron springs, coffin springs, flapper or T-springs, hooks for elastic traction and springs with tubing. All these wires and springs can be welded and soldered by using Universal solder(White/yellow). All our orthodontic applainces uses orthocryl and Ortho bright colour to obtain an excellant and workable applaince that will forfill the patients' needs. Eikestad Dental can make the appiance in any colour the patient prefers. We also fabricate gum guards and bleaching trays, and these gum guards (ED mouthguards,trademark registered) can be made in different colours, namely clear, orange, white, black, red, green, blue, maroon, yellow, pink and etc., split clours can also be made. With these gum guards(mouthguards) a patient can request to put his/her name, own design, school emblem, stars, baloons and/or glitter on it. These gum guards also comes with our (a)manufacturing emblem, and (b)depending on what sport the patient exercise, a special type of material that offers more protection against injuries can also be used. This mouthguard has a sponge protection that can prevent or reduce the degree of a concussion.
Plastic work(Acrylic Dentures,Flexi Dentures, C/C Acrylic/Flexi Dentures etc.
Implantology
We specialize in all plastics and the work is guaranteed for a period of 7 months depending on the Certificate of Warranty. Our product catalogue consists of full/full dentures which includes 2 special trays and two occlusal blocks, full upper/lower dentures which includes one special tray and one occlusal block, partial 1 to partial 9, flexi dentures, chrome cobalt acrylic dentures, C/C flexi dentures, relines, denture cleaning+polishing of excisting dentures, upper dentures with clear palates, soft base dentures, soft base relines , repairs, full/full dentures with lower soft base, immediate dentures and full upper and/or full lower dentures on implants. We also provide gum tinting, one arm-, roach- or ball clasps, cast clasps, lingual or palatal bars, wire strengtheners and/or mesh strengtheners depending on the patient + clinical professional needs. At Eikestad Dental all patients recieve a denture info pamphlet to inform them what & what not to do with their dentures. Our dentures can also be manufactured with dental jewellery(\(\(IZI-jewellery), inlay to artificial teeth, one surface or multi surfaces-e.g horseshoe or L-type inlay. Our flexi dentures are made using a T-crystal thermoplastic material, which bonds to acrylics and are suitable for all types of removable dentures, including implant-retained over dentures without any need of metal frame for reinforcement. We also use vertex and Valplast flexi material depending on Dr's needs. At Eikestad Dental we always duplicate the working models for patial-, flexi- and C/C dentures to ensure that the fit is 100% on the original model, on this duplicating model the denture will be fitted, thus there will be no/less grinding on dentist/prosthodontist's side to fit the denture in the patient’s mouth. All our acylic dentures are made, using Excell denture base, Vertex and/or Lucitone materials, combined with Vita (porcelain)-,Zenith-, Ivostar-,Monarch-, Vitapan and SR Phonares II denture(artificial) teeth. Vita Lumin Vacuum is porcelain denture teeth which is combined out of different layers of porcelain. Zenith teeth are cross-linked acrylic teeth with a high wear resistance + replaced the old Dentron artificial teeth. Ivostar denture teeth are composed of 3 layers, perfectly matched to the Gnathostar posterior teeth. Monarch denture teeth are four layered and have a 5 year guarantee against excessive wear. These teeth are a sophisticated polymer-composite that has physical properties such as, plaque adhesion resistance, improved colour stability, excellant bonding to denture bases, enhanced toughness and reduced chipping, and greater abrasion resistance and hardness. Vitapan Anteriors and Posterior teeth demonstrate outstanding physical properties. The impact resistance and innate elasticity of the material creates a tooth that can be ground without chipping. There is exceptional shade accuracy even after grinding the Vitapan tooth to a shell-like thickness. The Vitapan Tooth also demonstrates high polishability with no porosities. Vitapan Teeth feature individual characterizations and a degree of translucency, opalescence and fluorescence that corresponds to natural
teeth. Age-specific fine enamel cracks, calcification marks and dentine clouds are manually added to the anterior teeth to enhance
their natural appearance. SR Phonares II denture teeth is a new nano-hybrid composite(NHC)-based tooth, which outshine all existing denture teeth as far as aesthetics are concerned. Eikestad Dental use the GC Gradia Gum Shades kit for gum tinting that is done on the surface of dentures with a light cure unit. For gum tinting in denture bases we use a Kayon Synthetic tinting kit or the Vertex acrylic stainting kit that is done during the packing process of dentures.
We specialize in all implantology systems for crown and bridge-, as well as plastic work, namely Southern implants, Alphabio, Ankylos, Neodent, Straumann, MIS, Nobel Biocare and Zimmer implant systems. Southern implants consists of three different systems and they are, External hex, IT Connection, and TRI-NEX systems, which is the brightest ideas in dental implants. Alphabio implants also consists of three different systems namely, Screw Internal Hex, Arrow Press, and Arrow systems, which profides a perfect solution for a wide variety of surgical procedures. Ankylos implants basically comes in two types, the Ankylos C for a connection that is not indexed and Ankylos X for a connection that is indexed, and this system for a successful long-term hard and soft-tissue stability and long-term red-white esthetics. Neodent implants consists of four different types and they are TI-external hex, CM-morse taper, IIPlus-internal hex and GT-transgingival which makes Neodent much more than just dental implants. Straumann implants are divided into two different types and they are tissue- and bone level types. The tissue-level has three different systems, the Narrow Neck, Regular Neck and the Wide Neck. The Bone-level type works with a CrossFit connection which is divided into two groups, the Narrow CrossFit and Regular CrossFit. MIS implants consists of UNO, BIOCOM and SEVEN systems, which comes in different sizes, the Narrow-, Standard- and Wide Platform. MIS also has the C1 system which is called a Conical Connection Implant that also works on the Narrow-,Standard-and Wide Platforms. Noble Biocare implants consists of NobelActive, Nobelprocera, GoldAdapt Engaging/Non-Engaging, Snappy and NobelReplace Select, and these implants support the entire range of tooth-and implant-supported restorations. Zimmer implants are divided into two categories that are called the SwissPlus- and Taperd Screw-Vent Implant systems and they provide a scaffold for host tissue regeneration.
